WV HFMA Fall Education Conference Registration Now Open!

Dear esteemed friend of WV HFMA,

We are excited to invite you to our Fall Educational Meeting, “The American Healthcare Warrior” being held at the beautiful Marriott Waterfront in Morgantown, WV October 23-25. We will be celebrating the tenacity of healthcare financial management professionals while honing the battle skills necessary to slay healthcare finance and revenue cycle obstacles to success.

We will be offering an early careerist workshop on Wednesday the 23rd that can be registered for as a stand alone educational opportunity and is also included in every full conference registration. Topics for this workshop include Designing a Culture of Purpose, Effective communication Tactics, Leadership/Mentor-ship Panel with healthcare leaders from across the state, and how to get the most value from a membership with HFMA. This workshop will provide value for those just starting their careers and a refresher for those of us who are a little longer in the tooth on our own personal leadership journeys.

Highlighted speakers for the Educational sessions starting Thursday morning include Leadership Training, the Belicheck Way, Compliance Reviews in 2019, managing Healthcare Spend and 340B education. The learning continues into Friday with an extensive session on Medicare rule changes in 2020 that no healthcare finance professional can afford to miss!

In addition to the fabulous enrichment activities, we would be remiss if we failed to mention the unique networking opportunities that will be shared by all attendees. WV HFMA offers a golf tournament Wednesday, a Tailgate Party with an extremely competitive Cornhole Tournament sponsored by Ken Stoll and Credit Adjustments, Inc. and a special American Healthcare Warrior Obstacle course on Thursday night where we will crown the fiercest competitor in WV HFMA.

The event is hands down, the premiere event of the season in the region for the most up-to-date information needed for us to continue the good fight of caring for patients and our communities every day. We look forward to seeing you there as we restock the tool chests of “The American Healthcare Warrior!”

Best regards,
WV HFMA Program Committee
